My two cents on that cheating escapade: If I were privy to those emails, I would let one of the cheaters know. Let them deal with you knowing about it. Then it’s in their best interests to either come clean or keep you out of potentially awkward situations. Telling anyone else just seems like it’s going to make things worse for everyone, the writer-inner included. It’s going to make her (I think it was a her, right?) seem untrustworthy. I know I’d be hesitant to confide in someone who is so cavalier about giving out information that could ruin families.
