Thank you for taking the time to answer my question regarding parenting with depression and anxiety. We’re trying our best to carve out time for self-care. Love the shows!

A suggestion for the infertility question. It may sound crazy but look into and research the moons cycle in comparison with a women’s menstrual cycle. My husband and I were trying to have a baby for about a year.We too were surrounded by friends and family getting pregnant so easily. It was hard to feel happy for everyone when we were hurting for the same thing. I wasn’t ready to revert to medical intervention or to the idea that something was wrong with us. So I began my research. I stumbled upon lunar fertility. It’s theory: when a women ovulates during a full moon is when she’s most fertile and best chance to conceive. Might be coincidence or it may have worked but we finally conceived and it was during a full moon while also during my ovulation period. I now have a beautiful 6 month little girl. Just something to look into. Best of luck to you!

Hi, Elizabeth!
First off, congratulations on your new baby girl! I’m a new listener to your podcasts, and I’ve heard you discuss problems cooking on your shows. Have you tried using a crockpot? As a new mom, I find using the crockpot invaluable, and there are so many options for things you can fix in the crockpot. Here’s a link to a great crockpot blog: http://crockpot365.blogspot.com
