Love what you suggested regarding the listener who is suffering with OCD. I’ve suffered from anxiety and when I went on meds a few years ago I was so ashamed. Once I started to “own” it and share with people, you would not believe how many people can relate. As Elizabeth said, some wont respond in the supportive way you need, but you would be surprised by how many people will really get it. Once you share, you will feel less alone and believe me - that’s everything.
