I swear Andy and Josh look crazier every week in the show notes!!! 😉

O-Shen Christ says:

I second that TOTALLY!!!
Amazing episode as usual even the second time around. Andy and Josh you guys work in the music industry how is it that you don’t record the podcast?? but to your credit you did catch it awfully quickly I mean your not using a soundboard when you record?? anyways I’m sure you’ll make sure it never happens again!! aloha!:)))

Hey RoRo and JoJo,

Just wondering if you have stumbled upon the Blendtec “Will it blend?” videos on youtube? If not, you’ve got to check them out. They blend things like iphones, glow sticks, lighters (awesome!), etc…The host is amazing too.

Becca says:

I might not have the right name for it, but I think the drink Josh was talking about from his trip to Austria is an aperitif? That might be a generic name for it but when I studied abroad in Italy we would have those in the afternoon for “happy hour”. I think it’s wine mixed with aperol? The best part is that the bars would bring out kettle chips and olives, for free, a broke, hungry college students dream. I had one at Olive Garden a couple years ago, so good!

Becca says:

Ok, correction, what we were drinking was an Aperol Spritzer, the bar we went to called it a “spritz”, and it’s called an aperitif because it’s drank before dinner. When Ellen started talking about Negronis, I immediately thought if these before she described the ingredients. And then I had a craving for one 🙂

Such a great episode! I actually wrote down the guest’s beverage profile because it was so inspiring!
I’m really wanting to get back to drinking tea, and as I stock up, I’ll have to take different moods into consideration and get something for every occasion.

Listening to this show has made me more aware of what I drink, which is great.

RoRo and JoJo, you two ROCK. This show is seriously hilarious, and it keeps getting better and better. Go fuck yourselves.

Steph says:

I agree! Ellen Fairey seems to know so much about beverages, and so authentic about what she does and doesn’t like. You guys should have her back!

Coco says:

Oh hell no! My nickname has been Coco forever since the first two letters of my first and last name are Co and Co, hence Coco. You guys probably just copied MY nickname 😉

Coco says:

My Mom isn’t a fan of my nickname and it’s all my husband and friends call me so my Mr. Coco has to catch himself at family events and call me by my real name. It’s pretty funny watching his brain working in overdrive whenever he starts to say Coco and has to correct himself mid pronunciation.

Sickdrops4christ says:

The Austrian drink is an Aperol spritzer - Aperol is an aperitif made from oranges and stuff and it’s mixed with white wine or prosecco and soda, plus ice and an orange slice. Its pretty nice!

O-Shen Christ says:

Another example of the TBASH synchronicity caller talked about LeBron sprite mix and it’s one i’m Diggin lately it’s very good if you like Shirley Temple’s but like I said on Instagram LeBron should have man’d the fuck up and called it LeBron Shirley Temple mix because that’s what it is ! :))

A few weeks ago a group of friends and I had a country themed party (aka drink alcoholic beverages from all over the world). A bunch of us live in the same apartment complex, so we decorated different apartments based on different countries, we had country themed food and snacks, but the real focus of the night was *totally beverages* (a lot of these were mini-sized drinks, enough to taste everything not so much to get too fucked up)

We started at the Netherlands where we had Heineken with a shot of Ketel One dropped in (apparently it’s a Dutch thing…). Then we went to England and had Pimm’s Cup, Butterbeer (butterscotch schnapps, vanilla vodka, cream soda) and Baby Guinness (Kahlúa and Baileys). Next was Russia for White Russians and Moscow Mules (and for the brave, Russian Roulette with shots of either cheap vodka, nice vodka, or water). At Brazil we had caipirinhas, then ended at Mexico with homemade margaritas!

Anyway, thought other bevheads might be inspired to try their own around the world beverage themed party!

You guys should snap chat before/during episodes and send it to your”My Story” otherwise what is the point of having a snapchat? Also, you can get a program to save the snapchats we send in to you and post it onto your own Story so other fans can see what other fans are drinkin. Anyway, just consider it. I’ll donate the 5 dollas for you guys to buy the snapsaver app if you’re into this idea. Just trying to get the TBASH marketing strategies off the ground. Go fuck yourselves.

It’s funny, There has been this bowl in my cupboard forever. It was left over bowl from my husband’s mom. I thought it was ugly but it was really well made so I never tossed it. I take it to work every so often. I never would have thought to look it up had you not mentioned Heath Ceramics. Guess what it is. I didn’t realize my bowl was worth so much. 🙂 you learn something new every day.

I’m not sure if it was this episode that you were talking about major coffee chains in Brian’s Question. But the reason you don’t see Seattle’s Best as much anymore is a few years ago they were bought out by Starbucks. They have slowly phased them out. I work in Portland and I think there are 6 Starbucks in a 3 block radius of where I work. Up here we obviously have Stumptown and Starbucks but another one that is really popular is Dutch Bros. It’s a coffee stand/drive up style coffee place. The one where I live always has a like of at least three cars on both sides of it.
