Hahaha that was the saddest air horn. Totally made my day
U2 were in rare funny form I like it when you don’t do shootouts and just shoot the shit- it’s hilarious !!
For a Squirt shoot out Collins Mixer is the closest challenger.
Keeping up my duties on the New York Seltzer news front, it looks like there’s news on the New York Seltzer and Clearly Canadian reboots. And I’m chalking up the renewed popularity to TBASH.
This from Jezebel, http://jezebel.com/saturday-night-social-clearly-canadian-and-new-york-se-1706568343?utm_campaign=socialflow_jezebel_facebook&utm_source=jezebel_facebook&utm_medium=socialflow just came through my Facebook feed.
Looks like Jezebel found some amazing 80s and 90s ads from both brands.
It links to pieces in Food and Wine and Eater about both products about to come back.
Here’s the Food and Wine one: http://www.foodandwine.com/fwx/drink/clearly-canadian-back-production-set-arrive-august
Here’s the Eater one: http://www.eater.com/drinks/2015/5/18/8619773/vintage-soda-brand-original-new-york-seltzer-is-making-a-comeback
Also, you really will be doing yourself a favor if you watch the New York Seltzer ad Jezebel shared.
That song. So perfect.
Was that Sammy Hagar’s identical voice twin in that NY Seltzer spot??
Wasn’t my favourite episode but Andy totally with you on the IPAs, what the fuck is so great about them?
.co is the “county code top-level domain” for Colombia. A top-level domain (TLD) is what you guys referred to as the “suffix” of a web address. Countries have their own 2 letter TLDs and some have decided to let anyone use them. Three letter domains like .com and .org are called generic TLDs (gTLD).
The organization that manages all this is ICANN. It has been expanding the universe of gTLDs but it is a slow process.
.beer was created in 2014 and .coffee in 2013. Doesn’t appear that anyone has applied for .beverages. Unfortunately, you’d need to wait for a registry company to apply to create the gTLD, which costs $185,000. If that happened, then you could buy totally.beverages.
Hey guys! Duh, I’m still listening, and you’re right I’m. I longer pregnant. I’m drinking a lovely Stone IPA as I type this- I know you’re not big fans, but it’s ok. Anyway, the Soda Stream did in fact fill out my beverage profile. I mixed in some tart cherry juice and lime and it was great!
Aw this made me so happy.
Congrats on the bebe! Cheers!
Hi guys - I was spontaneously recommending TBASH to a friend last week, and described it as the layperson’s (amazing, entertaining) take every variety of beverages. She responded that it would be awesome if once in a while you all had an “expert” guest (or at least, what society would consider an expert - I think you guys are the real experts!) for a blind shootout along with a regular guest, like a sommelier for a wine shootout. It would be hilarious to see if the expert’s opinions lined up with yours, and ESPECIALLY awesome if they picked an “underdog” as the best! Just a thought for a future show!
Your reactions to this weeks Brian’s question was hilarious!
Brian is coming hard with this week’s question. Maybe drinking from the toilet just sounds weird because we haven’t had time to get used to the idea yet. At some point in history, someone looked at a cow and decided to eat its butt. Now rump roast is just a thing people eat. I don’t want to start drinking toilet water but at this point, nothing could shock me. So if someone told me this was the latest trend, I’d believe it. Maybe the germs you intake would act like an inoculation and make you impervious to poo germs on a larger scale.
Just to look at it from the other side, dogs also lick their own assholes and eat garbage. Maybe they just have shitty taste.
I CAN’T WAIT to hear the rest of Brian’s Questions!!!

You know the funnel that comes with the aeropress? It also fits the bottom of the press perfectly so you can press your coffee into any mug with a smaller aperture… Alternatively, my husband I use a stainless steel little pitcher (the kind you might see a barista steaming milk in), and aeopress 4 shots into it then split it into two mugs to make americanos for two because we’re cute like that.
Also! Espresso Tonic! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_KHKHRBjcaA
Oh my gosh, you guys! One of my favorite episodes yet. The outro was perfect.
