I’m not finding @tbashpod on Instagram :(((

Intern Josh says:

Not on Instagram or Snapchat yet,.. Still sorting that out. But @TBASHpod is the official home for TBASH updates on Twitter

O-Shen Christ says:

found it, Instagram notified me when it was available!!! how cool is that.

Intern Josh says:

yeah!! we on Instagram now! IF ANYONE knows of easy ways to juggle multiple Instagram accounts, I am all ears.

DT says:

This was the laugh I needed after learning about the passing of Harris Wittels. I’m legitimately sad we’ll never know his beverage profile. RIP Harris.

Intern Josh says:

As am I. He was a good man. A troubled man, but also a true comedic genius. Others closer to him can eulogize him better than I, but his contributions to the last decade of comedy are nearly unmatched. And he was a really a swell and crazy dude in any interaction I ever had with him. This really hit me hard. He lived a full life in comedy in 30 years, and we’ll pour one out for him. RIP, buddy.

Em says:

Oh man, the conversation about crazy college drink concoctions took me back. We used to do shots of everclear (180 proof) with crystal light powder sprinkled in. How I survived my freshman year, I will never know.

Bethany says:

OMG. That was basically how I got drunk for the first time. Vodka with Crystal Light powder mixed in. Not good… Not good.

Intern Josh says:

why don’t more people call into the hotline with their worst moments in beverages? just sayin’…

Intern Josh says:

the only problem with that is we’d have to start screening VMs. And that just doesn’t seem likely.

Jason S says:

When I was still pretty early in my drinking career, my wife and I lived in a room off the garage of one of her friends (GREAT decisions we make in our youth, I know). One night they wanted to play Risk, and maybe have some drinks. Ok, sounds good, what are we drinking? Oh, we don’t have anything, you wanna go get us something? (I was the only one of age) Sure, no problem…Then they can’t piece together enough money, so…”We have some Everclear in the fridge” “What’s that?” They explain how powerful it is. “Ok, what can we mix it with?” All They had was Pepsi. I had a whole can of Pepsi in a glass with MAYBE a quarter-shot of Everclear. The next Pepsi had maybe half a shot. The Pepsi quit burning on the way down on the 3rd one, so then every time I finished my turn I went to the fridge and just drank some Everclear. All told I had maybe 12 shots in a couple hours. The Risk game came to a grinding halt when I ended up rolling on the floor giggling. The giggling stopped quickly when I stood up to go to our room. My lovely then-future wife ended up holding my head while I puked for over an hour. Best part was that I was working midnights and it was at least 10 PM when I started horking. My again-savior wife called my boss and told him we had cooked chicken on the grill and I had started puking. He bought it. Bottom line I was lucky to not get alcohol poisoning that night.

KG says:

Can I request Jojo’s wife as a future guest?

O-Shen Christ says:

and Meg Myers!!! and Elizabeth’s Sister and of course BRIAN!!!!!!! BRIAN’S QUESTIONS!!!!

Dan says:

Episode 100’s guest has to be Brian. I will accept no other guest to be present for the final BRIAN’S QUESTIONS.

Intern Josh says:

If only we knew how to get to Brian or my wife… We’ll do our best. That’s all I can say. We’ll do our best.

Inspired by the previous mentions of bourbon barrel beers, I went to my local “Total Wine and More”, the hugest booze store I’ve ever been to, and was able in 30 minutes to only find ONE. I got Dragon’s Milk Bourbon Barrel Stout, by New Holland Brewing. It’s 11% ABV and it was 5 bucks for your standard beer bottle. I at first balked at the price, but if you go to a bar/restaurant you pay $5 for a Budweiser, so i figured what the heck. It’s 100% the best beer I’ve ever had. I am definately getting more of this, and looking for the Goose Island ones mentioned on today’s show. I love Goose Island, though it’s less readily available here in MN than it was in Chicago, I still see it around a lot. Thanks for the recs Jojo, RoRo and whoever sent the beers in!

Melissa says:

Great show! Sprite is too sugary… I love 7-up, but it can be hard to find… so I go with Sprite Zero. Really well balanced flavor, light and great as a mixer. It’s available in the Coke FreeStyle machines… I do 3/4 sprite zero peach and 1/4 grape… you guys, it’s delicious.

Also, white shit… no.

Joelene says:

In reference to the voicemail with the lemonade vodka drink, I make something similar but not as strong called summer brew. It’s 1 can frozen lemonade, then I use the lemonade can and fill it with vodka and add 1 of those, then three cans water and 1 can or bottle of light beer. It’s the perfect combination.
Another drink we made a lot in college we called Froggies I have no idea why. It’s just a mix of Mt. Dew or Sprite fruit punch crystal light and vodka you can blend it or have it on the rocks. It’s really sweet but it gets the job done. Enjoy and go fuck yourselves!
