I always chew the ice in any drink I get, pretty sure thats why I dont tend to get bad hangovers. Its about half a glass of water per drink.
I also pee 1,000,0000,000 times a night though.

Hey guys! I’m an episode behind but thought I’d post on the current comments to keep it in discussion so here it goes…Frozen. Margaritas. I have a spirits and beverage background and ran a couple of tequila/margarita bars in San Francisco. Blended margs are the worst. They are usually made with the shittiest of well tequila, mix, and water. The last tequila bar I managed we even refused to have a blended margarita machine and would only serve margaritas on the rocks for its high quality. But I totally understand the desire for blended if you are living in Texas. More power to you…just know what you are drinking!

The best margarita is:

2 oz 100% blue agave tequila (my favorites are Siete Leguas Reposado or Partida Anejo)
1oz fresh squeezed lime juice
1/2 oz agave nectar
1/2 oz H20

Mix together agave nectar and water and then add other ingredients. Shake vigorously with ice and then strain over fresh ice (that is the key part). And skip the salt!!! It was a marketing ploy back in the day and it actually masks the taste of bad tequila. If you are drinking the good stuff then you don’t need to hide the flavor.

Chugging water, it’s the only way to go. It’s too hard to remember to sip all day. and I like to pretend I am in a desert, dying of thirst a couple of times a day.

A couple LaCroix related comments - it’s definitely pronounced “La-Croy” per their website FAQ: “How is ‘LaCroix’ pronounced? Also LaCroix ‘Cúrate’ ? La-CROY, rhymes with enjoy. Cúrate is COO-rah-tay.” I was sad reading this because I prefer the fancy French-sounding name of La-kwah…

Also, they totes have an apricot flavor and it’s good. I second checking various Target locations for the best flavor selection. My favorite is the peach-pear - neither of which are flavors I especially love on their own but DAMN that’s a refreshing combination. The cherry-lime Curate is also a good replacement for soda - somehow it tastes sweet like soda without having any sweeteners in it.

At my last job I drank so many cans of Canada Dry Club Soda (5+ a day) that the office manager informed me I was impacting the collective beverage budget too much and had to cut down :*(

Drowning food in hot sauce may typically be a dude thing but this lady showers in that shit! Especially on an omelette but really on basically everything I eat.. and I mean everything!
