Topo Chico really is the best - an opened, uncovered bottle keeps its bubbles for days. It’s a magical cure for everything. However, they need to ditch the new anniversary bottles with the sticker labels and get back to the silk screened bottles.

Woo! I love Alison! I was hoping this would happen after you had JKJ on. And I’m glad to hear Perrier was the most hated. I really don’t like that drink either, but I guess I wrongly assumed that most sparkling waters taste like that, so I never tried another. Maybe I’ll give it a shot.

And thank you for the shout out, JoJo! Actually, I was a special guest on Jesse Thorn and Jordan Morris’ podcast, where Alison was the guest that day. She’s really cool in person too. AND I did an illustration for her podcast too. And JJGO. I draw a lot… Hahah.

I had never heard of “Vos” water prior to listening, but I got the feeling that it must be kind of snobby, cost a lot more than it’s worth, but more of a status-symbol thing than anything, whatever…
There’s this guy at office that I have pegged as some sort of stuck-up hipster douchebag, based solely on his appearance and my own internal hatred of everyone I am in contact with - there’s at least a 50% chance I’m dead wrong, as I’ve never even shared 2 words with him, but whatever the reality, I get an icky feeling every time I pass him in the hall. Yesterday, 20 minutes after I finished listening to this episode, he passes me when I’m headed back to my cube, and I notice he’s carrying a glass water bottle. Hmm. What’s that on the bottle, letters? What’s that say? Oh, “VOS”? Well that’s about perfect.

Josh’s description of Starbucks Coldbrew was spot on!! This is Why he’s the fucking MAN, I’ve always hated Starbucks coffee and could never drink it, only the lattees and Cool Lime Refreshers but their COLD BREW IS FUCKING AMAZING and for a guy who Cycles 1000 miles monthly it is must on those long rides, like jet fuel! and yes it does make me shit more quickly.

I was so excited when I saw the title of this episode, I love Alison and am a huge fan of bubbly water! I’ve gone through different kinds over the years but have finally settled on plain old seltzer as my beverage of choice, I drink at least 4 cans a night (Kroger brand is awesome). And I was so happy to be validated in my feeling that Perrier is garbage water! Great episode, thanks guys!

I’m glad you guys didn’t like the Perrier. I gave it a try a while ago, and was just not a big fan. The bubbles were too small, and it didn’t have the same kick that straight up water in the Soda Stream has.

Also, that Nespresso frother is awesome. I have the whole Nespresso Espresso maker and it came with the frother, and it works really well. My aunt told me that lower fat milk makes better foam, so I use skim in it, but would be curious to hear what other folks put in theirs.

When you said one bubbly tasted nasty I knew it had to be Perrier. S. Pellagrino is much more pleasant tasting straight up. Looking forward to that shoot out. Good show.
